A life of sports including long-distance running, badminton and soccer at university level for Trinity College and inter-county football for Louth took its toll on David Hughes’ body.
As he entered his thirties, pain forced him to retire. In the following years, he worked in Canada and the US in the medicinal cannabis industry as a Chief Marketing Officer, where he saw firsthand the benefits that the CBD can bring.
